What distancing myself physically from others during this COVID-19 pandemic has opened up, is the time and willingness to bring a sense of order to my living space. We moved into our home last August. It was a hasty move. Items were given arbitrary homes, spaces were set up with out a sense of how it is we will function in them. There was no room to take time off from work to move in, so it was an ad hoc activity. We surmised that given we did not possess much, it wasn't that important. Looking through this new lens where time is no longer of the essence and I have a better understanding of how we are using spaces in our home, I am bringing a greater sense of order to our living space. It does not look substantively different but it feels more my own. This past week I have not left my home, but I do not feel trapped or confined. I feel comfortable in my surroundings. This must be the harmony that orderliness creates.
The other thought I have regarding orderliness is in relation to the concept presented on this card; trusting the unfolding of Divine Order in life. This pandemic is not an accident, it exists to teach us many things if we have the willingness to discern the lessons embedded within it. Despite its destructive and disruptive nature, it is bringing harmony to pockets of society that are open to embrace it.
