I have made some fairly important decisions recently that will impact me significantly over the next year. I applied for a legal masters course beginning in September 2019. The uncertainty of my finances, where we were going to live and the distance of the university from my home town caused me much consternation. I made the decision to defer my entry which in effect was to withdraw and consider to apply again for the next year. I also had wavering thoughts about continuing in law. Yes it is what I was trained in when I younger but I was opinionated and head strong. I was seeking money, flash and glamour. I had that and it was fun but it is not my focus right now. I have always longed to run a bed and breakfast hotel. I have not done anything to bring this about except perhaps enhance my culinary skills to produce fabulous meals. I have dreamed of running an establishment and serving great food. The home we have decided to rent has an Airbnb attached. I will be cleaning up after guests and tending to their requests if there are any. This is really exciting me and my hubby and I are discussing how we may too get into this business. These are thoughts I will be holding with patience, prayer and deep contemplation over this next year. There is no need to make a decision right now, but just thinking about it is exciting!!
