Confidence

I am grateful for my own gifts and talents.

As it is exam time here at the school where I work, it is interesting to see this virtue in action. There are those students who have worked diligently all term and are facing exams with trust and a sense of faith that they know what they are doing and can face the test ahead. Then there are those that are growing in confidence as they wobble under the pressure yet know that the more they practice those difficult aspects of a subject they will move toward mastery. I draw inspiration from watching all of this unfold. Mistakes are my lessons and even though it is frustrating to make them they have a wisdom buried in them which I strive to reveal.
